- OBS Studio - This is a popular, powerful open source software program that has great video processing capabilities.
- JamKazam Plugin for OBS - This is a plugin that lets JamKazam communicate with OBS Studio.
Instructions to Install OBS Studio
To install OBS Studio, go here: https://obsproject.com/download. This page will automatically detect whether you are on a Windows or Mac computer. Under the Windows/Mac/Linux icons, you will see large rectangular buttons to "Download Installer". Click the one that is right for your computer (e.g. Mac/Intel or Mac/Apple Silicon, or Windows) to download the file, then double click to run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install OBS Studio.

To install the JamKazam plugin for OBS, go here: https://tbd.com. This page will automatically detect whether you are on a Windows or Mac computer, and should offer you the right installer to download. Click the Download button to download the installer. Double click the installer to run it, and follow the on-screen instructions to install the plugin.
Once you have successfully installed the two pieces of software above, you are ready to use the video recording and broadcasting features of JamKazam.
